about us

A long-time local family is helping the community in a new way. Bill and Mary Helen Spoja have spent most of their lives in this area. This is why they opened the Central Montana Crematorium in October of 2003. More and more people are looking at cremation because of the simplicity, ease for the family, and reasonable cost.

Manager Paul Huff says, "We hope to be a help to the local mortuaries in making cremation available to our local families. The crematorium is fully licensed and equipped. It operates out of a new building east of Lewistown. Its employees were trained in one of the largest crematories in Southern California. We are fully prepared to give quality service to the people of Montana."

To the people of central montana

Cremation is a decision that provides as many commemorative choices as traditional burial. From burial at a cemetery to scattering ashes at a favorite site, from a simple ceremony at a favorite place of the deceased to an elaborate church memorial service - these are among the options available. With cremation, all of these are easily arranged by the family or friends. Our modern crematorium means peace of mind, convenience and reasonable cost. The owners respect each person's right to choose how best to memorialize their friends and family.
